�         DRIWIND breeds only Huacayas.

�         All of our alpacas are registered with Alpaca Registry Inc.

�         Our herd is BVDV-free. All cria are tested shortly after birth when their registrations are sent to ARI.

�         Our alpacas are identifiable by microchips below their left ears. The microchips are injected into the crias shortly after birth.

�         Our alpacas are treated for intestinal parasites only when fecal samples test positive, and then only for the parasites observed.

�         Our alpacas graze on pasture grasses during the day and have orchard grass hay in the barn at night. They are given a daily treat of alpaca pellets. Pregnant and/or nursing females, as well as crias, are also given alfalfa hay. Free-choice minerals are available for them at all times.
