Bred females -
QAINT Asti. ARI # 846914
White Huacaya DOB 25 June 2002
Proven, confirmed pregnant, due in December 2010.
She's done it again! Every time I've bred Asti, she's settled on the first breeding. And she just did it again!
QAINT Asti, daughter of the late 4P Pachacuti and dam of our 2007 twins, is a marvelous mother. She's an easy birther, never letting you know she's in labor, then proudly presenting you with a happy, healthy cria trotting at her side. Asti is attentive and protective of her crias. She has enough milk to allow others' crias to often sneak a snack. Her milk is wonderfully rich as seen in this year's cria's daily weight gain of 1+ pounds in her first two weeks. Wow! What more could you ask of a mom?
As testimony to her sire, Asti's crias have wonderfully dense fiber with nice handle. She would be a wonderful foundation dam for a new alpaca owner or a great addition to bring fresh bloodlines to an established herd.
Asti is bred to Crescent Moon's Pinnacle, a 4Peruvian Legacy multi-champion son, for a mid to late December cria.

La Buena Vida Autumn Concerto. ARI # 3594753
Dark Brown Huacaya DOB 3 October 2006
Proven, confirmed pregnant, due in late December to January.
Autumn was the second cria born at Driwind. She is a Schwarzkopf granddaughter out of an old import. Autumn came out with a wonderful personality and passed it on to her first cria. She’s a delight to work around in the barnyard as well as being easy to work with on husbandry day.
She has been a wonderful dam, even as a first time mama. Her milk came in well and she has maintained her weight through nursing.
Autumn has been bred to La Buena Vida’s In Sync, who has done well in the show ring and is now starting to settle his first females. He is a La Buena Vida’s Secret son, making him a Dom Lucilio grandson.
If this cria is anything like her first one, also sired by a Secret son, it should be awesome! Autumn will be an excellent addition to any alpaca farm. She is confirmed pregnant and due late December 2010 to early January 2011.

Open females -
Driwind's Hit The Jackpot. ARI # 31127301
Medium Fawn Huacaya DOB 2 November 2007
Open maiden, ready for breeding.
Jackie is the larger of the twins. Her fleece is wonderfully dense with lots of crimp. She is an open maiden but should be ready to conceive this breeding season. I would expect Jackie to follow in her mother's footsteps as an attentive mom with lots of milk.
~ $1,200.00
Driwind's Double Delight. ARI # 31127295
Dark Silver Grey Huacaya DOB 2 November 2007
![]()
Open maiden, ready for breeding.
Deedee is an eye-catching beauty that is everything her name says . . . . doubly delightful! Not only is she beautiful, but she has a wonderful impish personality, the clown of the herd. Like Autumn, Deedee is out of our old import and sired by a Schwarzkopf son. Though Deedee was chronologically old enough to breed last year she wasn't mentally ready so she's an open maiden that I would plan to breed this coming season. Deedee's fleece is a striking grey and wonderfully dense.
~ $3,500.00
